Paper flowers

For centuries now, flowers are one of the most important decorations for various events. To create a luxury and beautiful atmosphere, you can make centrepieces to place on your table or you can hang flowers on the wall. In the picture below you can see a centrepiece on a table.

Because there are so many kinds and colors of flowers, there is a choice for everyone. People always loved flowers and they will always do.

But now there is a new trend, which is the use of paper flowers in both floral walls and centrepieces. You don’t have to look after them, they will stay pretty for months with no extra care required. They are beautiful and look like real, as you can see on the example in the picture below.

How do you make a paper flower?
According to Lalitha (Paper Dahlia Wreath, 2013) you can make a paper Dahlia Wreath in four steps:

Use ½ sheet pieces of grey and ¼ sheet pieces of orange and red. Roll your cut paper into a cone as seen on the picture below.
Stick the grey cones in a circle on a piece of cardboard.
Continue to fold, glue, and place the red cones above the grey cones.
Do the same as in step three with the orange cones.

I hope you will enjoy your flowers and remember “deep in their roots, all flowers keep the light”.
